[Update: OnePlus 6T beta 1] OnePlus 6’s OxygenOS beta 9 adds support for migrating iPhone data

The last OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 was only a couple of weeks ago, but now we have a new open beta release. This latest beta marks the 9th release for the OnePlus 6 (we’re still waiting for the OnePlus 6T to get an open beta). The changelog for open beta 9 is relatively small, which you can see in its entirety below.
Changelog
  • System
    • Updated Android security patch to 2018.12
    • Added toast message when parallel apps are unavailable due to data corruption
  • Phone
    • Added call history for incoming calls from unknown numbers
    • Optimized UI for Spam messages and calls
  • OnePlus Switch
    • Now supports migrating data from iPhone
One of the biggest features in this update is the iPhone migration in OnePlus Switch. This will make it a lot easier for iPhone users to give OnePlus devices a try. The update also includes the December security patches, call history for unknown numbers, and an optimized UI for spam.
If you’re already on the open beta builds on the OnePlus 6, you will receive this update via OTA. Since this is the first one for the OnePlus 6T, users should be aware that joining the open beta channel will exclude them from stable updates. Going back to the stable builds will wipe your device. Download the OTA files below if you want to sideload the update.
